Many people in Glenn's community regard him as a hero for his work with the Rusk County Sheriff's Department. However, when Glenn thinks of heroes, he thinks of the blood donors who saved his life following a serious car accident that occurred as he was responding to a call. He sustained several life-threatening injuries but was able to be treated because of Commit for Life donors who made blood available in his time of need.
