Linda Warner

Linda Warner joined The Blood Center East Texas in December 2002 as manager of Donor Recruitment.  In 2003, The Blood Center’s recruitment area expanded into Angelina and Polk counties, adding to the existing Nacogdoches, Shelby, San Augustine and Sabine counties.  Warner and the recruitment team of four are responsible for maintaining an adequate blood supply for eight hospitals in the six-county area.

Her team educates businesses, schools, churches and other organizations on the ins and outs of holding a blood drive. They train volunteers to ensure blood drives run smoothly and to spread the word about Committing for Life.

Previously, Warner had been the director of Nacogdoches County United Way and spent 11 years as the community relations director for the local NBC-TV affiliate.  Her broad range of experience includes having worked in nonprofit organizations, marketing, promotions, public speaking and event planning.

Linda and her husband, Bill, are the parents of two married adult children and have two grandsons, Andrew and Gabe.
