The Blood Center East Texas is pleased to congratulate Tom Davis, winner of the East Texas iPod Challenge giveaway.  Individuals who donated or attempted to donate between May 30 and June 30 were automatically entered in a drawing to win a 4GB iPod Nano, which stores up to 1,000 songs and features a color display. The iPod Challenge was a way to thank our donors and encourage more individuals to Commit for Life.

Davis, a resident of Nacogdoches, has been donating whole blood at The Blood Center East Texas in Nacogdoches for over eight years. As a regular blood donor and Commit for Life member, Tom has helped save up to three lives with each donation. His commitment to helping patients during the summer months was especially important, as donations often drop in the summer, while the need remains ongoing.
