A longtime partnership is recognized as Mary Frances Bradford, director of The Blood Center East Texas, receives a sponsorship plaque for the Driving Jacks program from Matt Bodin, left, and Lonnie Luna, far right.

Driving Jacks is a student organization on the SFA campus that offers rides to students that feel unable to drive themselves home. The Blood Center East Texas and Stephen F. Austin have a long relationship of saving lives through the Commit for Life program with blood drives held on campus each semester. During the 2007 fall semester, students and faculty have helped save over 1,200 patient lives in the East Texas area.
