Lufkin Neighborhood Donor Center celebrates
new location
![]() |
The Blood Center East Texas celebrated the grand opening of its new Lufkin Neighborhood Donor Center facility on Thursday, July 26, 2007. The event was commemorated with a Lufkin-Angelina County Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony and a lunch reception.
The Blood Center’s chief medical officer, Dr. Susan N. Rossmann, served as emcee and dedicated the center to the T.L.L. Temple Foundation, which provided a generous gift in support of the new center.
This new facility welcomes the Lufkin community to help save lives by donating blood at least once a quarter. The center is open Tuesday through Satruday with flexible hours to make it convenient for individuals to Commit for Life. The center is located at 202 S. Franklin Street, and can be reached by calling (936) 634-2116.
