Hallmark Fixtures in Center, Texas is a Commit for Life donor group that truly cares. A division of Hallmark Cards, this group’s involvement in area blood drives mirrors the corporate office’s national advertising campaign: When you care enough to send the very best! Because that is just what they do five times a year.

The company sponsors five on-site blood drives each year, and this year’s goal is to provide almost 100 units of blood to the community supply. Jane Arnold, blood drive coordinator, says her donors are indeed “the very best” and each drive is an honor and privilege for her to see the love and commitment expressed by her regular donors.

“Our employees all say how much they enjoy the blood drives because it gives them an opportunity to help others, said Arnold. “And as the company nurse I am so aware of the need to have a safe supply of blood at all times. I know just how quickly a person can go from donating blood one day to being a blood recipient the next.”
